It's really sad... I don't have much to say. Well, I do, but I can't work up the effort it would take to write about it all.

I went shopping today. Tree, you would be proud. I bought Nightmare Before Christmas earrings, and they're fethin hot. I lurve them muchly. And I bought shoelaces. For the full story about the shoelaces, catch me on MSN and I'll tell you about them, since it's a semi-long story. And I bought Songs About Jane by Maroon 5 cause I needed some new music, I've played all my other CDs to death (which is saying a lot). It's a good CD, but I think that the songs that they play on the radio are the best ones on the album. Man, what else did I get? More earrings, hehe. And a hairpin thing... Claire's here are exactly like the ones back home, but with a lot more selection.

I hate clothes shopping here. I mean, the teen fashion is really cool and looks good on Japanese people, but I think it would look ridiculous on a Westerner like me. It would look like someone trying desperately to look fashionable. Think chiggers in Canada. But unfortunately, these clothing stores are about the only ones I can find that make clothes for teens, and most teenagers look the same and dress the same way. It's the whole group mentality thing. Individuality isn't the norm here, and is often sacrificed for the betterment of the group, which is still really strange to me. Everything is about uniform, and almost everyone wears one of some sort. Business men wear suits, school children wear uniforms. Of course, there's the occupation oriented clothing, like train conductors uniforms and the like, but even the casual wear is like a uniform. Everyone wears the same sort of things. It's... frustrating. I'm not sure I'll know what to buy when I finally am forced to buy some clothing. So far, I've avoided it, save for a few pairs of socks.
